The EU AI Act was published in the Official Journal (OJ) of the European Union on 12 July 2024. This is the final version of the text to be enforced.

Commission draft (2021)
The original AI Act as proposed by the European Commission can be downloaded below. Please note that the ‘Final draft’ of January 2024 as amended is the version that will likely enter into force, not the original draft below.
